On 13 November 2021, unidentified persons were victims of a road accident along Akungba-Akoko.

According to an eye-witness, a J5 truck ran into shops located just outside the compound of Holy Trinity Anglican Church claiming the lives of people. As at tnow, there have been two unidentified persons confirmed dead.
